The Fort McDermitt Wellness Center welcomes Ms. Pamela Sherwill-Navarro, FNP, as our new locum tenens medical provider (Family Nurse Practitioner).  Pamela’s  nursing career began a while back–  has experience in family medicine with an emphasis in chronic care diseases.

  • Appointment schedules are made Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. each day.   
  • The “Walk-in Clinic” is every Monday’s from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
  • LUNCH is every day from 12 p.m to 1 p.m. 
  • FRIDAY’s from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Administrative Day is the afternoon of Friday.

Health Director/Executive Director:  Dr. Jacqueline J. Bae, MHA, FACHE

Dr. Jacqueline J. Bae is a seasoned healthcare executive with practice management experience in primary and specialty care, FQHCs, Rural Health Clinics, mobile clinics, behavioral health, urgent care, residency clinics, and Native American healthcare.  She has worked in both for-profit and non-profit environments–as CEO, Director of Health Services, Executive Director, and as a provider specialized in Endocrinology.

Dr Bae’s experience also includes leadership in hospitals, wellness centers, hospice, home health, and managed care.  She is married and has a son.

Executive Assistant:  Billy Bell

This is Billy’s first healthcare field experience, however, he brings us experience in administering and supervising tribal programs, grants and contracts, and employees as a former Tribal Administrator, Tribal Chairman and Vice-chairman of the Fort McDermitt Tribal Council.  His role is to assist the Health Director and the Tribal Health Board in a broad variety of administrative tasks, including, communicating directly on behalf of the Health Director, with the Health Board Members, and others on matters related to the Fort McDermitt Wellness Center’s programmatic initiatives, and provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the wellness center and manages a variety of special projects for the Health Director.
